¡Hola! I’m Yesika , the proud founder of Golden Empanadas Takeout. Born in the beautiful Dominican Republic, raised in Montreal, I grew up with the rich flavors and traditions of Caribbean cooking—especially the golden, crispy empanadas that filled our family gatherings, street corners, and Sunday afternoons with joy.
Empanadas have always been more than just food for me—they’re a bite of home, wrapped in love and seasoned with culture. I missed that taste of the island, so I decided to share it with others.
